Welcome to Sust-mar! SUSTAINABLE MARITIMES — www.sustainablemaritimes.ca Sustainable Maritimes is a moderated email list for anyone interested in nature, environment and sustainability in Maritime/Atlantic Canada. Everyone is welcome to join, and anyone can post. Typical postings include environmental jobs, volunteer opportunities, events, announcements, etc. Topics range from climate change, to organic farming ... from outdoor education, to wilderness conservation. There are more than 500 subscribers, and an average of about one posting per day. Sust-mar is independent and non-partisan; messages are contributed by the subscribers. SUBSCRIBE: Please scroll down to the pink bar, below. Enter your email address and click "subscribe". You don't need a password or anything else. We suggest not choosing the "batch" option, just leave it at "no". To post a message to all the list members, send email to sust-mar@list.web.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to sust-mar
Subscribe to sust-mar by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
